QUEEN MARY

The photo above was taken by Vern in March of 1989

The fixtures around the Queen Mary Memorial are clear in the photo at left. The Soviet Sub, B-427 is at here bow. This web page author's thought is that if a Soviet sub can be moored here as a museum, the Navy Oiler can certainly be moored in the bow area of the cruise liner.



Soviet submarine B-427 was a project 641 know as the Foxtrot class diesel-electric attack submarine of the Soviet Navy. The "B" stands for large. View wikipedia page.
