Built: 1945, at Cal Shipyard of Los Angeles, CA  -  Length: 455 feet
The ship saw service at the end of WWII, in the Korean War and Vietnam. In 1988 it was conveyed to the U.S. Merchant Marine Veterans of World War II (a non-profit group) and has been restored and maintained by volunteers. The ship is based in San Pedro, Calif. as a museum and makes several trips out each year for a days cruising.

The information below the bar is now old. The S.S. Lane Victory moved from berth 94 in February 2012 to berth 46 at the mouth of the channel. She will later be moved in line with the USS Iowa BB-61 at the Maritime Museum.
