Christmas - 1963 was observed aboard the Kawishiwi a few days before she sailed for the Far East. This had not happened in home port for two years. the cooks had a field day preparing a real banquet on Christmas Eve.

Below, CSCS Caddis and Gullickson, beaming with pride, await the crowd for the annual Christmas Eve feast.
