Christmas - 1963
was observed aboard the Kawishiwi a few days before she sailed for the Far East. This had not happened in home port for two years. the cooks had a field day preparing a real banquet on Christmas Eve.

Below, CSCS Caddis and Gullickson, beaming with pride, await the crowd for the annual Christmas Eve feast.

Let's see, olives from California, radishes from the outer islands, stainless steel from Detroit, how continental can you get?
