    USS PAWCATUCK (AO-108) joined the GRAND RAPIDS and DOUGLAS upon leaving Little Creek for Naples on 28 July.  PAWCATUCK acted as refueling escort as far as the Gulf of Cadiz. Patrol Gunboat Page

     ON THE 24TH OF MAY SETH DIED THE 9TH OF JUNE AND HIS WIFE TALKED TO ME ON THE PHONE AND I ASKED HER
     IF I COULD HAVE THE PICTURE OF THE SHIP WHICH IS GOING UNDER THE BROOKLYN BRIDGE IN NEW YORK
     HE WAS NOT SURE WHEN THE PICTURE WAS TAKEN BUT IT COULD HVE BEEN IN SEPT OF 1955
