Out "Betsy Ross" contingent, consisting of R.K. Lofstrom, Little and Chief Rubeis demonstrate the originality and capability that keep KAWISHIWI on top. To picture our house flags that fly so proudly from the yardarm is a fitting way to close the cruise book and write "THE END" to another successful cruise. These flags are a new addition to KAWISHIWI regalia, just as this cruise book project is a new off-hours activity, and we hope that both will become an established and cherished part of KAWISHIWI tradition.

From Pearl Harbor to Pearl Harbor, via a circuitous route including the Pacific Ocean, South china  Sea, Taiwan straits, Philippine Sea and back to the Pacific Ocean is quite a jaunt, and a bit difficult to capture in words and pictures on such a limited scale as this, but we have tried to pick out the high-spots and heart-beats of a mighty ship and the men who make her strong and proud.
