U.S.S. Kawishiwi AO-146

My brother Peter, came aboard in '72 and I came aboard in January '74 when the ship was in Hong Kong. I cross decked from the USS Okinawa LPH-3. I was aboard for the Saigon evacuation Operation Frequent Wind after we were called back from Coral Seas Days. Pete passed away in June 2010 and we hope to be able to place some of his ashes on the Special “K” after she is reefed.
