Born November 21, 1934
in Bossier City, Louisiana. He graduated from Texas A & M
University
receiving a degree in business administration prior to entering the
Aviation
Officer Candidate School in 1955. He received his commission as
an
Esign in February 1957 and was designated a Naval Aviator in May
1958.
Captain Teague's first tour of duty was with Fighter Squadron 121.
Following
assignments have included duty with VF-124, VF-51, VF-111, VX-4 and
VF-51
as Executive and Commanding Officer, with deployments in USS Lexington
(CV-16), USS Ticonderoga (CVA-14), USS Oriskany (CVA_34), USS Intrepid
(CVA-11), USS Coral Sea (CVA-43), and USS Kitty Hawk (CVA-63).
Additionally,
he has served as Aide and Flag Lieutenant to RADM R.E.Riera in Alaska,
in the Office of Legislative Affairs in Washington. Prior to
reporting
to the Commander, Surface Force Pacific,

On June 11, 1972 while flying an F-4 as
Commander VF-51 embarked in USS
Coral Sea (CVA-43), TOn June 11,
1972 while flying an F-4 as commander VF-51 embarked in (CVA-43), Tooter was credited
with shooting
down a MIG-21. Captain Teague was Commander
Air Wing Eleven in USS Kitty Hawk.
During his WESTPAC
deployments,
Captain Teague flew over 450 combat missions. Captain Teague assumed
Command
of USS
KAWISHIWI on 23
Janurary 1976.
Captain
Teague married the former Loretta Ann Gould of Las Vegas, Nevada. He
died in Bossier City, Louisiana on 29
August, 1998 at
the young age of 63.
