Ronald Martin "Pete" Pearson MM3 Lincolnton, North Carolina Ronald went to Boot Camp in San Diego in early 1965. He served on the  USS Kawishiwi AO-146 from 1965 to 1968 His specialty was generators. See his 1967 crew mates in the M-Division

August 11, 2003 Phone call with Vern: Ron had a stroke a short time ago and would have liked to go to our 2003 reunion but isn't quite ready yet. He plans on going to the 2004 reunion.

Before his stroke he worked in a Textile Mill on looms that created curtains etc.

Ron spent a lot of time at the VFW. in 2009 he was named "Veteran of the Year"

On Feb. 12, 2010; Ron passed away in his sleep. This was reported by his brother ,John, to Bob Munoz.

He has remained in contact with shipmate Bob Munoz
