Bill is a former Asst. Vice President and Chief Transportation Officer with the Atchison,Topeka and Santa Fe Railway. He served 29 years with them and then with two other rail companies. He then had a firm on his own under name of "Lyman Transportation and Logistics" to specialize in transportation consulting, railroad equipment planning and utilization, intermodal operations, and railroad management. Bill retired in 2008 and now consults on railway jobs.
