The Lone Sailor, with hands tucked inside
his pea coat pockets standing next to his
sea bag and a dock cleat, is the 
embodiment of dedication and a tribute
to sailors of all the sea services. 
 

The Lone Sailor Memorial  is a monument
to the thousands of men and women who have sailed
out of the Golden Gate to do
their duty for America while serving in 
the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, 
Coast Guard and Merchant Marine.
