Jerry was part of Kawishiwi's crew that won the
Ney
Award in 1962.
He cooked
for a short time on leaving the navy,
but it did not pay well he went to mill work at "Longview Fibre
Company" where he plans on retiring in 2012 after 30 years.

He has attended reunions for
2 ships in
Las Vegas
and Reno.
Jerry attended his 1st Kawishiwi Reunion w/ wife Colleen in
2011
