for me. It was my first ship. Reported aboard Nov 17,
1969. In Subic Bay. Went into
town that
night---(I have YET to recover!!) Started a 4-year adventure on oilers.
So many fine memories.
After I left the Navy,
I worked for Hewlett-Packard for 12 years -- electronic service. Then worked
for the Berchtold Corp for
over 9 years. Installed &
maintained surgical lighting, camera systems and equipment booms in
hospital operating rooms.
