The Houston Maritime Museum is about to embark on an aggressive capital campaign which will allow it to move its collections to a new building adjacent to the Port of Houston’s Sam Houston Pavilion on the Ship Channel in 2014.


The Museum is very active in creating and repairing ship models. In hopes that they could display several models of  World War Two SUPPORT TYPE SHIPS, I have asked them is they would consider it. Their answer is, "

"Thank you very much for your excellent suggestion.  We are currently in the process of compiling ideas for our new museum exhibits, and will make sure that this idea gets to our Planning and Visioning Committee. I know they will greatly appreciate your input.."
