In 2014, The Houston Maritime Museum embarked on an aggressive capital campaign which allowed it to move its collections to a new building adjacent to the Port of Houston’s Sam Houston Pavilion on the Ship.

The Museum is very active in creating and repairing ship models. In hopes that they could display
several models of  World War Two SUPPORT TYPE SHIPS, I have asked them is they would consider it. Their answer is, "

The site is in the center of the city.
