NROTC, University of Southern California, Los Angeles.

    March 1975 - May 1975:
Steam Propulsion School, NAVSTA San Diego, Ca.

    June 1975:  Joined Kawishiwi inport,
Subic Bay, RP.  Served as Electrical Officer, Auxiliaries Officer
          and Liquid Cargo Officer.

    June 1978:  Transferred to Washington, DC.  Served as aide-de-camp
to CO Military Sealift Command.

1976 Crossing the Equator Ceremonies
December, 1980:  Left U. S. Navy - Went to work for Military Sealift Command, first as an Unlicensed Junior Engineer, then 3rd Assistant Engineer and 2nd Assistant Engineer. Sailed out of Oakland, CA, on USNS Taluga, USNS Kilauea (twice), USNS Ponchatoula and USNS Hassayampa.

November, 1983:  Married Lcdr Harriet Henderson, USN, and went ashore to become a "camp follower,  moving with her career to San Francisco, CA; Norfolk, VA; Spokane, WA; Washington, DC; Raleigh,  NC; and Washington, DC (again).  She retired as a captain in 1997.  In the interim I held positions as an RV Service Manager, Vocational Instructor, Maintenance Mechanic, Construction superintendent and church custodian.

 ..............................We are now semi retired in Southern Oregon.
