CGC POLAR STAR (WAGB 10)



MCMURDO SOUND, Antartica ( 1-10-2002) -- During Operation Deep Freeze, the 39 ft. Polar Star (WAGB-10) breaks an ice path for supply ships. Supply ships must offload their cargo during the summer months of Janurary and February to ensure that the extensive program of research activities can be conducted and that the facilities in the area remain operational year round.





August 23, 2007 - CLEVELAND - A U.S. Coast Guard 25-foot response boat with a forward M240-B gunner and an a stern M-16 rifleman. August 23, 2007 - CLEVELAND - MILES technology detection strobe. This strobe, which was placed on a USCG 25-foot response boat,
