United States Naval Academy Chapel in Annapolis,
Maryland, is one of two houses of worship on the grounds of the Navy's service academy. The Naval Academy Chapel's
cornerstone was laid in 1904 by Admiral George Dewey and the dedication
of the Chapel was on May 28, 1908. The Naval Academy Chapel is a focal
point of the Academy and the city of Annapolis,

BANCROFT
HALL,l at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, is
the largest single dormitory in the world. HISTORY
Memorial Hall opens off the Rotunda. This hall contains the honor roll of all Academy graduates who have died in military operations. There are 489 panes of glass in the skylight. ![]() |

to the Hall is the Rotunda, wings on either side. Over the Rotunda is a
large mural of the USS South Dakota in the Battle
of Guadalcanal.
